I'm studying biochemistry and biology since 1993 and one of my favourites are any kind of Hymnoptera like wasps, hornets and bumblebees. But most people think, they are just pests and treat them like this. So I'm giving lectures and slide shows since 1994 about these stingy insects. In 1995 I was honoured with the Sven-Simon-Award for this work. But being a Science-Fiction-Fan since Star Trek concoured the german TV-Screens, I'm also interested in the concepts of alien biology, which isn't so alien at all...
